Qualcomm S4 Processor 2.5 GHz Mobile Dual Core More Efficient Power

It looks like Qualcomm plans to develop processors with the latest technology named Qualcomm S4 that will replace the previous version. Qualcomm S4 is the latest processor that the future will be able to walk up to 2.5 GHz clock speed. This processor is capable of running on multiple operating systems like Linux, Android, and in several other operating systems including Windows 8.

Some of the details and the details that have been issued by Qualcomm that is:

• Core Processor are not used to "collapse" to save power, 
• Qualcomm Scorpion using electricity 25 to 40 percent more efficient, 
• The new CPU Krait uses dual channel memory and offers a 1.6 times increase CPU performance, 
• The processor will support 2G, 3G, GSM , CDMA, EV-DO, LTE and 4G mobile data connections throughout the world as well as WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS, 
• S4 chips Qualcomm expects to use the power of 25 to 40% less than previous chips, and offers 60% better performance, 
• Adreno 225 will support OpenGL ES 1.1 and 2.0 and DirectX 9.3,
• Adreno 225 Graphics performance is expected to offer 50% better than the speed of current graphics Adreno 220, 
• The clock will range from 1.5 GHz to 2.5 GHz, 
• Qualcomm will change from 45nm chips for the 28nm chips are more efficient with the S4.

We probably will not actually see a cell phone or tablet with the new Qualcomm S4 chips until early 2012, and Qualcomm's new chip will compete against the latest processors from NVIDIA, Texas Instruments, and others.
